Overview:

ION Glass were commissioned to install black glass designs for the washrooms at the O2 Arena, London. We used Colorglaze to produce coloured glass worktops, glass partitions and toilet cubicles, keeping the black glass theme running for continuity and ultimate design impact.

Technical Informaton:

ION manufactured male and female black glass cubicles using Colorglaze laminated glass for full privacy. Glass was channel set into the walls, floors and ceilings, ensuring maximum stability and the doors hung with glass to glass door hinges with high quality notifier locks and bespoke keeps in polished stainless steel.

The black glass theme continued to the partitions, also laminated, and fixed using bespoke stainless steel bracketry, manufactured by 3D Metal Solutions.

The black coloured glass worktops were manufactured in 15mm toughened glass and fixed to a bespoke mild steel support frame, including a 250mm wide downstrad to the front. The black glass complements the grey marble washbasins. Lighting effects have enhanced the futuristic shapes and luxurious styled black glass.
