Meet the team

Peter has over 25 years’ experience in the glazing industry, working on major historic landmarks, schools, ancient churches, new build projects and many residential projects. Peter founded ion Glass in 2005 and with a long-established passion for building design and engineering he strives to provide glass designs tailor made for every property. Peter has worked on contracts ranging from The Tower of London, St. Lawrence Jewry and Kings College London.

Paul joined ion Glass in 2008. Working with clients from the advent of projects, he has extensive knowledge in heritage glass design and listed building compliance, deep-rooted in his established engineering background. Paul works with Architects, Church & Parish Councils and Main Contractors to meet the most complex design briefs. Paul managed award-winning projects Canterbury Cathedral, Tate Britain and St. Dionis Church which was recently shortlisted for Heritage Building Project of the Year Award 2021.

Rupert joined ion Glass in 2009 working on numerous commercial and residential glazing commissions across the UK. His specialisms in fire-rated glass installations, rooflights and balustrading, reflect his keen interest in functional design and architecture. Rupert lead extensive glazing installations at Lainston House Hotel loggia and curved glass balustrades to Martello Tower.

Erna

Colin is the invaluable link between customers, site staff and manufacturing to ensure projects run smoothly. With many years’ experience in design and project management, Colin works with the ion Glass Surveyors and Manufacturing to ensure product specification and installation is expertly delivered.

Alexandra

Keith is the most recent member of the ion Glass team, with over 15 years in the construction industry and most recently as a Quantity Surveyor for refurbishment projects in the leisure and hospitality sectors, also working with many large UK retailers. Keith works on all types of glass projects, often specialising in glass links and extensions.

Colin is the invaluable link between customers, site staff and manufacturing to ensure projects run smoothly. With many years’ experience in design and project management, Colin works with the ion Glass Surveyors and Manufacturing to ensure product specification and installation is expertly delivered.

Joel joined ion Glass in 2018, with a design background on both UK and international projects. His meticulous approach to drawing ensures that all clients are fully aware of the project that ion is delivering on their behalf. He produces fabrication drawings which include the complex geometry of multi-curved panels and also detailed intricate connections which enable and facilitate ion’s bespoke service.
