Aquaproof Tanking Systems
ION Glass supplies and recommends Aquaproof tanking systems, to be used in conjunction with our Frameless Shower Enclosures, wetrooms and any other installations where waterproofing is essential. Aquaproof is available to be purchased separately.
The Aquaproof system has been developed specifically to tackle the problem of leaking from wetroom areas and can be applied to wood, plaster board, MDF, concrete and screed and most commonly used construction boards. Once applied a fully tanked room can be achieved, preventing damage to the wall/floor substrates and leakages into the room below. The Aquaproof system will also resist normal movements in a room and will not become brittle with age.
