HURSTPIERPOINT COLLEGE CHAPEL: GLASS BALUSTRADING

Ion Glass were commissioned to install tailor made glass balustrades to Hurstpierpoint College, including glass balustrades to a new gallery within the College’s Chapel.

Chaplain Jeremy Sykes says “I am very pleased with the new gallery” describing it as “beautiful architecture that does not detract from the rest of the chapel”.

Headmaster Tim Manly adds “although modern in construction and style, the new gallery fits beautifully within the building. It is an outstanding addition to our chapel”.

RATHFINNY WINE ESTATE, ALFRISTON, SUSSEX: BESPOKE GLASS INSTALLATIONS

Ion Glass installed bespoke frameless glass doors and screens to create a light, welcoming entrance area in addition to fixed glass balustrading to complement the main staircase and mezzanine retail area.

Ion Glass created an arched glass porch design, to provide a bright weatherproof church lobby with automated glass doors and disabled access.

St. Peter’s Church, Dunchurch: Glazed Bell Ringing Chamber & various Church Glazing

Ion Glass were delighted to install beautiful structural glass screens to the bellringing chamber at St. Peter’s Church, Dunchurch. The result is improvement of acoustics within the chamber. Other products include glass doors and glass balustrades.

Vicar Malcolm Garratt expressed himself “over the moon” with the result and the Bishop of Coventry commented that it was the best installation he has seen in any church both within and outside his Diocese.

Residential Project: Secure Glazed Entrance Door

Ion Glass were commissioned to supply and install bespoke oak framed glass doors and large arched glass vision panel to the beautiful 13th century church in the small parish of Newtimber, nestled under the South Downs, Sussex.

ST MARY'S ON THE QUAY: ACOUSTIC GLAZED SCREENS

Ion Glass provided a range of beautiful glass installations including acoustic glass screens to suit the original mediaeval arched stonework of the Grade II listed church.

The initial response to the award-winning project at St Mary’s on the Quay has been exceptionally positive. Staff working in the newly opened venue commented, in particular, about how the acoustic glass effectively negated the noise impact of the busy road adjacent to the church whilst still enjoying the natural light through the original arched glass windows.
