Overview
Ion were commissioned by Buxton Builders to supply and install exterior glass screens and internal acoustic glazing to the newly built classrooms at Brighton College, East Sussex.
Technical Information
Ion provided survey, templating and installation services for the supply of seven full height double glazed windows and acoustic glass screens to the Design and Technology department at Brighton College. The external windows are manufactured with structural silicone sealed double glazed units. These are set into a timber perimeter frame. The screens provide a seamless facade to the new classrooms.
Within the Technology Department Ion installed glass screening 4.5 metres wide, manufactured as an acoustic sealed unit, creating sound insulation between the corridors and classroom.
